FAQ
HRT Questions
Common questions about hormone replacement therapy at Med Matrix.
Hormone replacement therapy restores hormones that have declined due to age, stress, or underlying health conditions. At Med Matrix, we run a 100-biomarker blood panel to measure your estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, thyroid, cortisol, and other key markers before building a personalized protocol around your actual lab results.
Bioidentical hormones are structurally identical to the hormones your body produces naturally. Conventional synthetic hormones use modified molecules that behave differently in your body. At Med Matrix, we use bioidentical options whenever clinically appropriate and tailor dosing to your labs, not a one-size-fits-all prescription.
HRT is for anyone experiencing symptoms of hormone imbalance: fatigue, mood changes, weight gain, poor sleep, low libido, brain fog, or irregular cycles. These symptoms can appear in your 30s, 40s, 50s, or beyond. We test first and treat based on your data, not age alone.
Both men and women benefit from HRT. Women commonly address estrogen and progesterone decline during perimenopause and menopause. Men address testosterone decline alongside estrogen balance and thyroid health. Our 7 specialized providers work with patients of all genders to optimize hormone levels comprehensively.
Your first visit is $100 and includes a full 100-biomarker lab panel, an InBody 770 body composition scan, and a provider consultation. Ongoing HRT therapy typically runs $70 to $200 per month depending on your protocol. Full onboarding (labs, consult, and first protocol) is typically $1,200 to $1,500. We accept HSA and FSA accounts.
